The Copper Cafe

The Copper Cafe

A neighbourhood café designed to linger, gather, and return to.

The Copper Cafe combines a relaxed neighbourhood atmosphere with a distinctive material identity. Terracotta tones, warm oak, handmade tiles, and copper accents create a rich yet welcoming interior that changes character throughout the day. The spatial planning prioritises both customer experience and operational efficiency, with intimate seating corners balanced by a generous central area. The design gives the café a recognisable personality while keeping it approachable and comfortable.

OUR MISSION

Our mission was to create more than a functional café — we wanted to establish a place with its own sense of character and community. The design needed to work equally well for a quiet morning coffee, an informal meeting, or an evening gathering. By combining efficient planning with warm materials, layered lighting, and distinctive details, we created an environment that encourages people to stay, connect, and return.

THE HONEST WORDS

"Creating a place people remember long after their coffee is finished."

We wanted somewhere people would want to stay a little longer. Studio Arq captured that feeling perfectly and gave Copper & Co. a space that customers instantly connected with.
